You Made the Successful SCCL Summer Program Possible

Dear , During our Spring Midlands Gives fundraising campaign, we informed you of exciting opportunities for participants in the SCCL Summer Program that included all-expense paid opportunities to broaden real-time pro-life experience for students and young adults. I am thrilled to share some updates with you about the recent experiences made possible through your generous support. Our SCCL Summer Program participants had the unique opportunity to take part in a Shadow Day on the Hill with Congressman Joe Wilson on June 26, 2024. This invaluable experience allowed them to gain firsthand insight into the workings of our legislative process and the impact of advocacy in shaping policy. Following this, from June 27-29, 2024, our SCCL Summer Program participants attended the National Right to Life Conference in Alexandria, Virginia. Here, they engaged with leaders, activists, and experts in the pro-life movement, further enriching their understanding and commitment to protecting the right to life. Over the next three weeks, we will be sharing a series of emails from two of those individuals: Abigail McGillis and Connor Knight. The Monday and Thursday email series will highlight the journey, the insights, and the profound impact these experiences have had on them. These stories are a testament to the importance of investing in the next generation of pro-life leaders, and we are excited to share them with you.
