My journey into motherhood began unexpectedly during college, met with minimal support from the father of my child and his family who suggested abortion. Yet, with unwavering love from my own family, I chose to embrace motherhood. Today, as a grandmother of six, I cherish the belief that life starts at conception and ends only when called home by God. This conviction led me to become a passionate advocate for life, volunteering with South Carolina Citizens For Life. My story has served as a beacon of hope for women facing an unplanned pregnancy, and by utilizing my education and life experiences I’ve been able to champion the sanctity of life.
Volunteering at the Proudly Pro-Life Weekend for the past 2 years has been a great opportunity to connect with South Carolinians who share a passion for protecting the sanctity of life. Additionally, it’s empowering to see the fruit of SCCL’s work as legislation is passed that further protects the lives of the unborn.
I volunteered two consecutive years for the SCCL Proudly Pro-Life weekend. These two weekends of volunteering were by far the most fulfilling volunteer events I have ever participated in! The cause is good, true, and beautiful! I look forward to volunteering with my wife and growing family in the future. Help share and spread the pro-life cause!
