Let Your Light Shine Bright

Dear Friends of Life, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on His shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” Isaiah 9:6 The greatness of the Christ child arose from the most unsuspecting place. As we celebrate the birth of Jesus this Christmas, I pause and like to think of what it must have been like for Mary as she knew she carried the Light of the World within her. I also pause to think about all the “little” lights of the world that have been snuffed out due to abortion in this state. Yet, the Light of the World came to save and to defeat the darkness that tries to snuff out the innocent among us. Will we carry the Light of the World within us to defend and support the innocent?
